This year on Nagpanchami 02 August 2022, the date will remain for the whole day and the whole night. On this day, Panchami Tithi will start from 05:43 in the morning till 05:43 PM on the next day on 03 August 2022. On the day of Nag Panchami, the best time to worship Nag Devta would be from 05:43 am to 08:25 am. In this way, on the day of Nag Panchami, there will be an auspicious time of worship for about three and a half hours. According to the Panchang, this year on the day of Nag Panchami, there will be Shiva Yoga and Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra, which is very auspicious.

For fasting and worshiping on the day of Nag Panchami, eat only once on the Chaturthi date of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month and worship according to the law on the day of Panchami. On the day of Nag Panchami, get up early in the morning before sunrise and after taking bath and meditate, take a vow to observe Nagpanchami fast according to the law. After this, place a picture of the deity of Nag or a serpent made of clay or silver on a post. After this, after bathing them with milk and water, worship them with flowers, turmeric, roli, akshat etc. After this, offer the snake deity mixed with sugar in raw milk as a bhog and offer it to the snake deity and recite his mantra.
